The pizza was tasty and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. But it's not the best around. The sauce tasted good and the crust was flavorful. However, the crust came out a bit soggy. Check out the Seattle Times' recent Pizza Smackdown to find the best pizza in Seattle. Their results are right in the mark in my experience.

Pizza here is good. I ordered the pepperoni and added pickled peppers, onions, and their special topping that day which was mushrooms in brown butter and garlic. Wish they had mushrooms as a choice to add to pizza but that was just on their "Specials" board. Just plain pepperoni pizza not as great, was very soggy. Also ordered the prosciutto w/marinated olives. This dish was delicious and the prosciutto was so fresh!

Wood fired vegetables are very flavorful and are nice accompaniment to the pizza. Which is the best wood fired pizza in Seattle. Never a soggy center! It's not big so you have to be willing to wait 30+ minutes sometimes. Even for a table for two. Next time I will need to settle for take out.

Delancey is a quaint pizza place nestled in Ballard that I absolutely adore. I took a seat at the counter so I could see the pizza creation process in real-time! It is on the pricier side but worth it, I got the white pizza and purchased pepperoni as an add-on. Approved by a proud New Yorker. Fun fact: Check out the memoir by Molly Wizenberg based on this restaurant and the love story surrounding it.

delancey's was SOOOOO good. The place was charming and we were sat at the "bar" facing where they make pizzas in their huge wood fire oven. There were 4 of us so we shared quite a few things- and there were a few winners that I'd definitely get every time. Cremini pizza- really good, a favorite style of pizza for me, but was missing something- almost like a balsamic drizzle or something. 4/5 Pepperoni pizza- delicious- crust was great, sauce tasted nice. Pretty normal style pizza experience. 5/5 Jersey salad- 8/5 for me! Was the star of the show. Between the presentation and flavor, this is a gem and a must have every time. Burrata- 5/5- also a short second in being the star. Pesto sauce was to die for and was such a lovely appetizer. The staff was wonderful, friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. Solid experience!

This small restaurant serves my favorite wood-fire pizza in Seattle as well as a great list of wine options. We came on a Sunday evening and were seated after about a 30 minute wait but I've seen very crowded on other nights so I try to do carry-out or arrive right when they open. The restaurant is cozy with limited seating but I think it's worth it for a nice a date night. The staff was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We tried the meatball appetizer at the waitress's recommendation and they were so moist and delicious! The pizza was crisp with a nice smokiness from the wood-fire oven and the toppings were abundant. Street parking only in this area but you can usually find a spot within a couple blocks.

What an awesome spot for your pizza needs! We came in as a group of 5. Someone had put their name down first, and we went over to the restaurant when our table was ready. We ordered A LOT as a group of 5. For drinks, we had mules and a negroni. For starters, we had beef cheeks, potatoes, cauliflower, and a kale salad. For pizzas, we had a margherita, a crimini (with fancy mushrooms), salami, pepperoni, and a sausage. All the pizzas were delicious. All the appetizers were great as well. The pizza is airy and light. I feel like we could have eaten more slices haha. They add a 20% gratuity to all bills regardless of party size, but it definitely shows in their service. Shoutout to Brittany for taking care of us that night! Street parking only.
